Primrose Hill Mews

A mediocre mid 60's mews house was stripped back to the bare structure to create a private art space addition to the main residence overlooking Regents Park. A new basement was added give a variety of open plan and enclosed spaces. The entrance hall features a folded oak stair and a 7m high 'vase' formed from rusted steel with an infinity pool balanced on the top. Feature walls are formed from hand stacked slate. A slab of travertine appears to float off the walls and project through the window to form an external plinth for a piece of sculpture.
